OK , OK, enough of the funny business and now down to the matter at hand. It is that time of the year where The Board needs your help. Yes that’s right we need to hear from you our members!
You’ll need to log in to complete both of these forms, so be sure your login information is up to date. Talk to your school’s Admin for the CAFAA website membership if you have any difficulties.
2023-2024 CAFAA Board Elections
You should have recently received an email from Ariel letting you know that the 2023-24 CAFAA Board Elections are now live!
The CAFAA board is made up of individuals from across the State of Colorado. Each candidate has written a biography, so please take a minute to read them and get to know who the various members of next year’s board will be. These positions will be officially announced during the annual conference in Steam bat.
The deadline to vote is Friday, April 7 at 8 pm, so get your votes in soon!
2023-2024 CAFAA Award Nominations
Each year, prior the annual CAFAA conference, we ask our members to recognize the outstanding contributions of your peers. Nominations should be made based on a person’s achievement and outstanding contributions to the financial aid community, their institution, the State and their commitment to CAFAA. These achievements may include: contribution and commitment to the profession, outstanding customer service, efficiency, creativity, forward thinking, and dedication to access.
Awards:
- Thomas Monahan Rookie of the Year
- Postsecondary Institution Professional of the Year
- Non-Postsecondary Institution Professional of the Year
- Distinguished Support Staff Member of the Year
- Lifetime Members – Those CAFAA members who have worked in financial aid for over 25 years and who have retired in the last year.
The deadline to complete award nominations is Saturday, April 15th. Nominations will be reviewed by the CAFAA Board and award recipients will be announced during the CAFAA Conference.
