Metropolitan State University seeks applications for a Scholarship Advisor.
Job Description
The Scholarship Advisor is responsible for working with both institutional and non-institutional offices, agencies, foundations and private donors on the awarding, processing, and tracking of all scholarships and special programs under they manage. Works autonomously to fulfill data requests and provides various reports as required throughout the academic year for all scholarship programs for which they are responsible. Provides general and MSU Denver specific scholarship and Financial Aid counseling to current and prospective students and their families. Serves as the Office of Financial Aid liaison with outside private scholarship agencies. Serves on scholarship and/or retention committees as needed. Scholarship Advisor’s responsibilities at MSU Denver serve an essential educational function of the University as it works closely with the strategic enrollment management initiatives including recommending, establishing, and administering policies and procedures related to delivery of aid to students in order for students to achieve their college degrees.
